California-based Hortense Jewellery was founded by Parisian Hortense Bonneau who, since childhood, has known her life’s mission was to craft unique, artistic, and playful jewellery. Leaving Paris for LA in the early 2000s, Hortense trained at the renowned Revere Academy of Jewellery Arts before starting her eponymous label. Hortense designs and crafts jewellery that doesn’t follow trends: her unique aesthetic is a delicate balance of Paris and Los Angeles, reflecting her own transatlantic experience. Her design philosophy is focused on playful surprises that speak to her customers, incorporating her passion for animals and her love of fun designs that are sure to inspire delight.
